Hello From the Flournoys Welcome to Tami Flournoy's home page. This is my innovative answer to being allergic to writing letters! Hopefully you can catch up on all of the news at our house and have a few laughs too! This is what our new house looks like. We love living in Lago Vista. It is like camping out without camping out! If I stand on my tip-toes and crane my neck, I can see a tiny hint of blue from Lake Travis....except thanks to Mother Nature, it is more like Stream Travis! Looking out my back porch, I can see the beautiful Hill Country of Texas...and now also the mega roof of our new Elementary Mall (Okay it is really a school). I love all of my neighbors..except I don't like the deer quite as much as at first since they thought that my flower garden was a salad bar smorgasbord! Church is clear in Cedar Park and it takes 20 minutes to get there...that is if I drive like John it takes 20 minutes. If I drive responsibly it takes more like 30. Of course, Early-Morning Seminary is killer! You should see how many miles I put on my car in one year. Lets just say that I've had it for a year and the warranty has already expired! I just keep telling myself, "Boy am I glad I'm not doing this in a handcart!" Especially up these beautiful hills!

Greetings From Texas Howdy, Y'all. It has been right hot down here deep in the Heart of Texas. In fact, if ya take that thar r out of Heart you get heat. And we have been gettin lots and lots of that! I know that the reason is because Texas is so beautiful and there needs to be opposition in all things. I know that is true for when I get my summer electric bill too, It is the exact opposite of what I can afford! Well, now that fall is here we have had a down right cold front come through a week or two ago. It was a freezing 58 degrees. I had to get everyone's long johns out of the back of the attic. Of course, they don't fit anyone anymore. To find out how hot it was two weeks before that take the 58 degrees and double it! That is right! Surprise Surprise! Ain't never a dull moment here in Texas! Here is a list of items I have discovered do not like to be stored in the Texas Out-of-doors storage sheds.
