Grandpa Ed & Grandma Betty

Here are some pictures of my great looking parents. My Dad and Mom live in Phoenix, Arizona. They live in an area that use to be wonderful and is now "The Hood". They are fine, they do not fear, they have Bridgett (Their very own Lassie Dog) to protect them. Dad is working with the ward mission program now and my mom is the gospel doctrine teacher at church. My dad is a great artist and has decided to take sometime out to start painting pictures (instead of just graphic arts) again! I am so excited to see what he will do. Especially since, I just recently learned how to hold a paintbrush! Mom is working doing all kinds of computer art and media quotes and things at a local company there. I am trying to figure out how to get them to move out to Texas. If anyone has any suggestions please E-mail me!! ASAP

Grandma June
Alias: Grandma Phoenix & Grandma John
Grandma June is such a wonderful lady. We are so lucky to have her still with us! It has been almost 2 years since the car wreak that killed Grandpa John and almost took Grandma's life as well. Since then she has been working so hard to get back all of her strength. She's been doing all kinds of Physical Therapy. More importantly, she has once again shown me a wonderful example of how attitude is everything. I think Grandma June is one of the most spiritual giants I have ever known in my whole life. She is one of my true heroes. If you know my mom, then you know where she gets it from! Here is Grandma in the middle of trying to deal with all of this, and comforting me and giving me strength to meet my trials. She is a woman of extraordinary faith and courage. She is a light in a world with much darkness.
Grandma lives in Sun City, Arizona with Aunt Verna. She is getting genealogy together and telling us once again amazing stories, hopefully I will get them all right this time in my memory!

Grandpa John
As I mentioned before Grandpa John passed away almost 2 years ago in a car wreak. While my family is really missing him, we are thankful that he was able to come and visit us the summer before. I'm sure he is up there flirting with all of the Angels--but only just to be nice. Grandpa has a great sense of humor. I always smile when I think of Grandpa John telling one of his stories. He was a great carpenter. We use to have a joke that he was going to build me a piano, just as soon as he went on a safari trip to Africa to get some ivory. I am looking forward to seeing him again!

Grandpa Perry
Grandpa Perry passed away a few months ago. We were very sad to have this happen. Because most of our lives have been spent away from Utah, most of us didn't get a chance to know him very well. I do have fond memories as a little girl of following him out to the barn between his and Grandma Great's houses. He would milk the cow and I would watch him. Once he let me try to milk the cow, but nothing would come out. He would turn the cow teat sideways and let a barn cat get some milk--right out of the air! The cat just hungrily lapped it up! He would also take me around to see the horse that was bordered there. His name was Thunder and I believe he was a Quarter Horse. I was afraid of that horse but if Grandpa was around, then I wasn't afraid to let it eat out of my hand. Grandma Julia will be spending Christmas with our family. We hope that sometime soon we will be able to see her.
