Mike Flournoy

alias:  King Mike*Bean*Michal Mo*Mikemeister

Michael Nathan Flournoy was born on December 2, 1983.  He was born in the outback of the land down under.   Yes, that is right he was born in Alice Springs, Australia.  When we called our family state side to tell them that Michael had been born it was still just December 1st in the states.  So now his grandparents like to celebrate his birthday on the 1st of December instead of the 2nd!

Mike is a Junior at Lago Vista High School. He is a "Sandwich Artist" extrodinaire at Subway Sandwiches, where he has worked for almost a year! 

He is in his 3rd year of Early Morning Seminary and he is active in his Priest Quorum at church in Cedar Park.

This is how we get Mike out of bed for early morning seminary.  We sneak in, start his heart pumping and then drag him out of bed by his toes!

Michael got the nickname of Bean from getting an unfortunate haircut from his father just after the movie Bean was released.

Michaels goals and dreams of the future include:  Finishing school, serving a 2 year mission for the church and becoming a famous writer.  He actually writes quite well!

I am really excited seeing him grow up.  He has a superb sense of humor and he would rather die than tell a lie.  Anything Michael says, I know it will be the truth!

Michael loves to wrestle.   There is no wrestling team at school but if there were, you can bet Michael would be the captain of the team!  He would like to be in the olympics some day. He also loves to runand lift weights.

He loves to go to the Stake Dances and check out all of the babes.  John didn't want him to go to the New Year's Eve Dance because he was worried about drunk drivers.  Mike not wanting any of the lovely ladies to miss him to much sent along a "almost" life-size cardboard cut out of himself along with friends.  Here he is before sending his cut out-out into the world--giving "it" last minute instructions on how to treat women right!

  He also has discovered a great program called EFY (Especially For Youth).  He has such an awesome time there that I think it has been his highlight for quite some time.
