Here I am talking about myself.  At least it is better than what I generally do which it to talk TO myself!  I am happy to say that the move to Lago Vista has been good for me.   I was sad to leave all of my friends behind in Plano but I needed the serenity of the hills.  In fact let me sing for you now....

See how easily I am distracted?!  Anyway, I am pretty busy with 6 kids and my piano lessons.   I use to have things I enjoyed doing but I may have forgotten.  (Just kidding).  I am finding out I am a pretty good taxi driver.  I know that you probably are either in the same boat or you've heard it a thousand times but it is true.   Most of my life is spent behind the steering wheel.  If I'm not taking this person to the doctor or these kids to seminary or these fellows to soccer practice, then I'm probably asleep! 

Some things that I have found I enjoy doing is crafts, learning how to paint, and telling stories.  I also very much enjoy giving piano lessons and now also giving little music lessons at a local pre-school.

I also love my calling at church.  I teach Relief Society.  Second Sunday of every month.  Of course, I need to practice what I preach, so I'm getting a lot of practice in!

I am happy to say that I have finally found a way that seems so far to be working in the battle to lose weight.  After dieting to death and exercising until I hurt myself... I just went into the hospital, had major surgery, got a smaller stomach, and Ta Da!!  So far I have lost 70 pounds!  This is since the end of March 2000.  Of course I still have a long way to go.  But so far, so good!

I decided to put in the pictures of the island.  Sometimes I wish that was where I was!   Kind of like letting Calgon take you away!  Then I know, after a few days I would go nuts being bored out of my mind!
